I need a new graphics card. I've had a sucky GF2 MX-400 for the longest time, and I'm sick of it. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of spare cash, so I have to stay lower-end. Fortunately, I am relatively easy to please. :)
There are two cards on sale locally for the same price, a GeForce FX 5700 LE and a Radeon 9600 SE.
The Radeon has a faster GPU (325 MHz to the Nvidia card's 250 MHz), but the it's only got a 64-bit interface (the Nvidia card has a 128-bit interface).
Which should I get?
(BTW, Both cards come out at 400 MHz memory speed)
What price range are you in?
Between those two, you suck it up and get the 5700. The Radeon SE's 64-bit datapath is a killer.
I'm lying when I say trust me

Any SE edition is a no go.
SE = Sucky Edition
Get a 9600pro 256mb. runs for about $125 and still pwn :D Even a normal 9600pro would be good.
Go for the 5700. Its a nice little card.
The Gforce, I use the same; but not the LE version.
Nvidia Geforce FX 5900 Ultra
Sapphire Radeon 9550 256...best cheapest card in my opinion,next step after that the 9600XT,then the 9800pro.
