Recently our family has purchased a new computer. Well I went to run a game and every time I do it freezes. I have most of the best stuff or close to best. ANy ideas?

You could start with the type of computer and it's specifications, and the games you try.

Ok spec first. And what games are you running and on what steeing and resloution? do you have AA or AF on? Did you scan for spyware/viruses?

It also could be that you haven't installed all of the EXTREMELY necessary service packs. If you haven't I suggest you download them immediatly.

I think that a check of DX and device drivers may be the answer, the latter one especially, if you only just bought the thing.
