First off, My buddy bought a PC from iBUYPOWER.com and when he called to see why his PC never showed up, the tech said he would throw a bigger hard drive in it. Then when he received it like 3 months later, half of the hardware wasnt even hooked UP, along with the bigger hard drive he said he would throw in it, wasnt there!
I ordered a PC anyways (BIG mistake!) My buddy told me that they usually call to confirm the order, so maybe I should call since my order was taking SO LONG to process.
I called the technical support and the tech I talked to was a COMPLETE A$$H*LE!!! I was nice and asked a few simple questions. He just kind of sat that like "uuuuh, ok" like I was some dumb fluck or something. He AVOIDED ALL of my SIMPLE questions, then he beat around the bush and just said "everything will be alright and it should be there, thank you, have a nice day!" Then straight up HUNG UP ON ME!
WHAT THE FLUCK.!?.
Here is a quote directly from ibuypower.com...
"We want all our valued customer know that iBUYPOWER's customer support is superior. Day after day, we try the best to be the leader in the computing industry when it comes to reliability, simplicity and overall, great service." :wank: --That is BULLSHIZ!!!
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM IBUYPOWER AGAIN!!!!! FLUCK THAT!!! TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS AT MY IT COLLEGE, MY NETWORKING JOB, AND AT THE LAN PARTIES I RUN AND ATTEND!
Huh, I've heard nothing but good things about them...
My fri€nd bought a PC from th€m and h€rs turn€d out pr€tty good... did hav€ an issu€ with th€ rout€r not showing up until sh€ call€d and ask€d th€m to s€nd that part but oth€r than that... idk.
I've never ordered anything from IbuyPower mostly because of stories like this, but CyberPower has been pretty good to me.

newegg.com and just build it myself. :p Sure they go a little stupid with the prices at times, but the customer service is top notch and you see reviews of products from other customers, not just sales people.

I do the same, though I tend to get bits from all over the place. Wherever is doing good deals at the time.
I bought my entire comp from newegg and zipzoomfly
Same, all Newegg parts for me. For me it's just easier to get everything off of one site, that way you're not tracking a bunch of packages.
ZipZoomFly was a bit cheaper and free shipping.
Luckly I got everything in two orders, one from newegg and one from zipzoomfly.
Arrived a day apart.
Heh, I got my parts from TigerDirect, Newegg, and Fry's. Sure I didn't get all of the pieces at once, but I got the best deals at the time.
