So, I've decided to try it out and to be honest I am impressed. The new interface is alot smoother and easier on the eye's. Website's also tend to load faster too, and those vibrant ads don't hang up the browser. I'll admit it does take some of the elements from Chrome and Firefox and combines them, but that's what's cool. It's Chrome/Firefox. :lulz: Overrall I like it, if you have had reservation about IE (which I had) you should try this out. It doesn't seem to be the ass-end of the browser world anymore. Just thought I'd give a little review, I was that impressed by the improvement. :lulz:

I might dip my toes in the water once they finish it. I use Opera, but IE's necessary for some website compatibility issues :)

I hated the beta, it is the slowest IE yet. Which is acceptable since it is a beta..

It definatley has a few bug's, sometimes it doesn't load pages properly, ie. loading a page that is hours old. I am definatley looking forward to the complete version.

I'll give IE9 a try, but i'm not going to expect much since it is still IE after all. Nothing has matched the speed of Iron/Chrome yet, though Opera comes close. Iron and Opera are the only browsers i use these days.

My only complaint about Iron is that the latest build is usually a little behind the latest Chrome build. That, and the fact that the Mac version is on 5.0 and the windows version is on 7.0.

Those people need to move on. XP was good in its day, but that day is long gone now IMO.

I, know XP is old but still lol people are going furious about it.

Even I've moved away from it... it was a good OS, but now there's better.

It's actually really quite decent. It's definitely replaced Firefox as my secondary browser.

Exactly, hence it's a beta. One cannot expect to have a beta browsers without any issues.

I've been using IE9 Beta since its release and I'm loving it to be frankly honest. The only thing I'm bothered with is the wannabe different browser look. Beside that, the speed is pretty average, although I did experience some crashes after opening a new tab.

I'd say it's good for a beta, and I'm sure it'll be one of the most stable and good performing IE versions.

I might take a look but never used ie always crashed on me, I'm a firefox user.

Hi-jacking your thread a little bit, what browser/s do you usually use? Which do you think is the best out of the main contenders (firefox, chrome,ie,opera)

IMO, there is no "best" browser. All and each of them have their own unique features, and it's mainly worth of mentioning Opera as prime example. Seeing as I'm busy developing sites and applications, I'll have to ensure compatibility in most browsers if not all (spare the dead IE6 now =p). So, there's not really one that I 'usually use'.

However, if it comes to casual browsing, it'd be Opera.
