does battlefield 2 support pentium D processors?
NO, Battlefield 2 does not "support" Pentium D Processors... You can "play" Battlefield 2 on a Pentium D Processor powered CPU, given sufficient RAM and a decent Video card, it could play it acceptably well. But the game "BattleField2" does not "support" the processor in any way.
Well, that's like saying Battlefield 2 dosen't "support" Radeon 9200's. However a number of people with 9200's are able to play BF2.
There's no guarentee that the Pentium D will work. It might. It might not.
I should play fine on a pentium D, it just will not make use of the dual core capabilities, and will run slower that if you were using a higher clocked single core since its not optimized for dual core.
