Kind of a random topic to be talking about, but does anyone have any experience or recommendations for IP cameras?  Looking at setting up a few at my new house.

I've dabbled, any kind of Wi-Fi enabled camera is the easiest to install as you only have to worry about a power source, which can often be the trickiest thing and will involve drilling a hole through your wall and potentially installing new sockets, depending on where you want them.

You can also route ethernet cables and do it that way too, though.

Yeah, I've got a PoE switch here at the house, just looking for some ideas on wired IP cameras.  I've found a few on ebay used that seem decent, both HD and just basic VGA.

I'd say HD is a must really.
