Ok, i have the twits IP, what now? :naughty:
RevenYou can trace someone's approximate address using websites if you have their IP, but these are often inaccurate and sometimes give you the wrong continent. I once was judged to be in Sydney, Australia, when I was in the UK. If he uses a proxy, you'll get the location of the proxy. [/quote] That is true, however only to an extent. Providing on the type of proxy being used, you could still get the persons IP address and trace them back to their ISP (which takes a big of social engineering) or using other methods that get you their address/details. Sorry dude, I could probably get in a lot of trouble for explaining how to do it. Try having a play around with Google and see if you can find a tutorial there.
I didn't make it!
I need to know aswell, because today i got a hacker warning and had to restore my system to get rid of the probs, And surprisingly in all the chaos my browsers long list of warning and proof of hacking their was a IP adress of the hacker/Person infecting the PC. If only i did not loose the file with his IP.
Ahhh then there would be some hell ...
