So I looked all over the forums and on google and everyone says you can just exchange your iphone for another one. I bought mine at futureshop so I went to futureshop and they said that they can't exchange it because it doesn't affect the performance of the phone? This is a manufacturer's defect, which I told them but they refused and said that it can't be done. I'm really pissed off, this is a $700 phone, and even my 42" HD 1080p lcd screen doesnt have one spec of dust under the screen and that only costed $500. Considering the price of an iphone, their should be absolutely not defects at all if I'm paying this much, especially per month. What should I do? Should I march back in there tommorow and argue with them again saying it's unnacceptable? Please let me know!

PS: There's about 3 specs about the size of 2 pixels which are clearly visible in daylight, and watching movies/videos/browsing the internet/messaging everything. I've literally only have had the phone for 1 month.

They're bullshitting you. My brother's iPhone got a cracked screen, though it still worked perfectly. Apple replaced it no questions asked.

Yeah, dust under the screen. As long as you bought a new one, not a refurb, then it should be replaced. If futureshop does not take it back, then take it back to Apple.

Hopefully Apple won't send you back one with dust in it, like they did me.

problem is though, i live like 3 hours away from the nearest apple store which is toronto, not sure if I'd drive that far to get another one which might potentially have more problems. Though futureshop was sympathetic for my problem and gave me a free 50$ gift card which I was happy about, I still think they should just exchange me a new one since Ive had it for such a short period of time.

Take it back on another day and ask for a manager. Usually works like a charm.

Well, you don't have to drive to the Apple Store. You can backup your iPhone to your computer, and then send it off in the mail.

You can use the $50 to buy a temporary phone to put your SIM card in.
