Has anybody heard of it or tried it?

My friend had it on his Nano, played Doom, but he got more songs, so he had to ditch it.
Also keep in mind that it will violate your iPod's warranty.
Only the first wave of Nano's will run it. Overall it is just a waste of time. Like MM said above, if something happens to your Ipod is LINUX worth it?
I would advise against it if you ipod is still under warranty. My freind tried it on his ipod, later on it died (completely unrelated), and Apple did not want to replace it because he had linux on it in the past. I'm not sure how they know, but they have there ways.
I had it awhile ago. Naively, it doesn't support playing music, so naturally I was pissed and said screw it, and went back to normal Apple software. Found out recently with the quick install for it, it'll also play FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec... check it out sometime), so I though that was pretty cool. Installing iPL is a biatch though.
