How much music do you have. Because you should always be future proof so when you do get more music, you can fit it on. Because those nano's are only like 2 gig right? That's barely enough for me. But meh, it's your decision. Only thing i can say is that they look cool. :)

Yes, the nano's are only 1/2GB, which is quite small. I have 2 friends that have one, and they are forced to put covers on them, because they scratch very easily. They look cool, yeah. But if I were you, I'd go for a MP3 player with more memory. 1/2GB fills up quite fast!

Actually the maximum capacity is 4gb. I have a Ipod mini (not the same but close ;) ) it is pretty good with a excellent battery duration (around 14 hours fully charged) although I doubt the battery duration is any better with the Ipod nano because it has a color lcd.

All I know is that it uses RAM instead of a HDD to store music, which is pretty nifty :)

I have one. The battery life is so-so. The screen is incredibly bright and colorful, but small. The click-wheel is a little narrow, and you're thumb can slip off from time to time (only a problem in the games). It has some cool features like the screen lock, saving playlists that you make on the go, picture viewing. The capacity is a little low (2GB for $199, 4GB for $249). They come in two colors, the black looks cooler in my opinion. They are very small and very cool. Most importantly, they scratch easily so get a case. If I put mine in the same pocket as the earphones without a case, it will scratch (slightly).

When it comes to the Nano, your paying for the size, nothing else.

Don't. the battery life is a bitch and you can crush it with your bare hands.
