Unless you can't get to a plug this is almost never an issue.
Revenge was here.

The battery lasts 18 hours if you get a mini. How long can one listen to music without being able to put their MP3 player down and charge it a little. They may be a bit overpriced, but if you get a dock, you can just set your iPod down in the dock while your not using it. You'll never run out of batteries.
I think the BIGGEST con of an iPOD is that it A) WONT PLAY WMP files and is thus not PC friendly B) Doesnt have a build in FM radio C) Doesnt come with built in voice recorder... other than those things theyr SWEET. Youll enjoy it, trust me. By the way, are iPODs hard to get in the UK or just more $$$?
WMA files are stupid though. iTunes can convert all unrestricted WMA files to files compatible with the iPod. Key thing is to NOT buy music from Napster if you own an iPod.
I need to get closer..

My iPod is great. I'm not a heavy user so my battery has never ran out on me. The one thing I really hate about it is that when you're selecting albums, it places the songs in alphabetical order, instead of track number. So if you're listening to a CD with a long DJ mix over lots of tracks, it mixes them up so I have to put each CD on a seperate playlist. For me anyway.
Other than I'm very happy with it. I live in the UK and I ordered it online, arrived in 3 days. The earphones are a dead give away too I guess. I occasionally use it at my school and the old teachers are like; 'put your iPod away..' so it's obviously an issue if you live/work in a ruthless area
Hope you enjoy it though. :)

What model is your ipod? I have the newer clickwheel one and it organizes songs the way they were on the CD. Well, anyway, they are great gadgets.
Honestly, I like the Creative Zen series better than iPod... but theyr still good if you want a large hdd like the photo's 60gb
Ipods are cheaper in the US than here in the UK. a 20GB ipod here, ir round £220, in the US, i found if for like $280, which is around £180. i know not much difference, but its cheaper. Im getting the 4G Ipod, do you thin ky dad will be able to find one in Manhattan? because i dont want an older model like a 3G, or 1G. I said if he cant find a 4G, i dont want one because 4G are the newest. Do you think he will be able to find a 4G ipod, are they common in places like NY?
I want to be like the Admins

Most places only sell the newer model. I got mine at the Apple Store in the MOA. I am sure there is an Apple store somewhere in NY, but just about any major electronics retailer should only have the newest model.
oh good, because i only want the 4G one, thats the newest, so somewhere in Manhattan should be a store that sells the newer model?
