Just barely.

He won't get decent performance in any games with an IGP graphics solution. If he wants to play it well, he'll need an upgrade. Now, although a 300w PSU should suffice for low end graphics cards, a higher-capacity one will allow you to use a more powerful GPU. Just make sure, if you choose to upgrade, you get a decent branded PSU. (Antec, TTake, Hiper, Tagan, etc.)

Nick, why would anyone EVER want a Crossfire compatible X1600? Using something like that defies the entire point, you can get the same power, memory capacity and value for money from a single more powerful card.

Umm..How bout yes. I ran WoW on a X200m (= X300) at 10x7 pretty easily. I had to turn most of the eye candy down but it ran.

I had an x300 for a while, it was a crappy card, but its a lot better than intergrated graphics, i know someone who plays wow on a crappy ass dell 1100 with onboard graphics, seems to work fine. An x300 would work, but you might as well get a better card, atleast an x700 IMHO
