I'm looking for a new LCD monitor because I broke my old one. (dont ask why)
I was wondering if this monitor is good:
I can't find any reviews for it on any sites unless I'm blind.
And I would just like to know if it will perform good.
Not sure, but you know that a 20'' LCD has a recommended resolution of 16080x1024? All other resolutions have worse quality. The contrast ratio seems ok, as for response time, you can't trust what they tell you on that page. Get a review or magazine with realistic response-times.
Samsung SyncMaster is usually a very good brand if you are looking for LCDs.
By, 16080 you probably mean 1600, Mr.fancyPants?
I have a Syncmaster, although it's a CRT. My CRT works fine.
If you don't mind going down to a 17inch LCD this one would be best for gaming since it has a very low Response time. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116359
Here ya go...It's an excellent monitor. I have 2 dead sub-pixels. I think that's the proper name. I can't really see one unless I look, and the other is very inconspicuous. Both pixels "died" black. But, if you have your PC in a well-lit room, this monitor will act as a mirror...If there isn't a bright light behind it, this monitor freakin rocks! :nodding: :D

Yep, sorry for the typo :)
Go for a View Sonic if u can. Those monitors are very good.
