Hi, i have windows xp, the latest version and ever since i've had isdn with the NT1 plus 2, its been great, and the whole time i had no idea that it was only running at 64k speed even though it says im connected at 128k on my computer. Until one day, i have no idea why, but on the modem, the little red light decides to pop over to 128k, an im like woohoo, fast internet, it was going at 14.6kb download instead of only 7.4kb
So i went away from my computer for a while then come back and its back to 64k on the actual modem, so im like arrgggghh. It was working totally perfect. I am using the custom driver so that i can select 128k with dvo, which means when somone calls it will kick back to 64k, and someone did, then it popped on over back to 128k. I have no idea how to get it back on to 128k and make it stay there, i am so angered by this, could it be my isp but that seems a little wierd that it only worked for a few hours.
You say you are using "custom" drivers, are you sure those are compatible with your hardware? Try looking for original drivers for both ISDN PCI card and modem..
It could not possibly be the drivers. For some reason on the weekend it worked for a few hours out of the whole year or so i've had ISDN, then it simply didn't.
Come on, there must be someone who knows about this.
