I once found a guide wich told you how to use it with window media player
I was ripping some cd's w/ wmp and I plugged in my iPod, and it asked if i wanted to update it, I just hit no, and I guess it just sees it as a nromal mp3 player, and will just chunk music at it wherever it wants to, so I'm not gonna try it until I know it works. Call me paranoid, but I'll be the one with a working iPod
Im actually using Real Player as someone here suggested... seems to do the trick alot better then iTunes
Oh, I have no idea how to work with Real Player.. ew... lol. I haven't reinstalled it since I reformatted. Last time I even used it was last year somewhere in the summer
Yeah its quite crazy if you dont give it a chance... you have to make sure you dont let it push you around, seems to enjoy setting its own default preferences that ruin all your file associations without your permission :P
Heh, yeh, that was one reason I didn't enjoy it very much :P The only reason I used to use it is because it was the only choice I had to put music onto my SD card for my Palm Pilot.
