I'm thinking about buying a new Joystick after my old one (a Saitek Cyborg) stopped working after several years of use.

Can someone here recommend a good stick? I don't want to spend a lot of money (no systems like the X-52), but it should be precise, reliable, have thrust-control and a third (rudder)-axis.

If your old one worked out for so long, Why change?, I have the same one and I love it.

Just buy a new one.

They don't produce this one anymore, it's Cyborg 3d USB. I'd buy it again any time because I like the way it looks much more than the futuristic design of the Cyborg Evo.

This Joystick lasted for 6 or 7 years, but now the Z-axis seems to be damaged (planes start to yaw violently as soon as I roll) and the primary fire-button doesn't work either.

Ummmm....let me think. Try a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. It has 12 buttons including a trigger, a hatswitch, and a thrust lever. I don't have a link. Its been a good joystick for me.

Well, I just ordered a X-52 pro. So much for not buying the most expensive hardware on the market. Amazon made an offer I couldn't refuse :)
