Well as some of you know, I've recently built the computer I'm using. It works great, thanks to all who helped, but my keyboard is getting old, doesn't match my case, and sometimes certain keys don't work. So I'm looking for a new keyboard for a reasonable price (preferably $60 or lower). I've been looking at this (link) keyboard.

Basically I need someone to say "yeah that's a good keyboard", and I'll get it :p Or say "that keyboard sucks" and I won't. In which case I'll need suggestions. I'm not looking for anything fancy, I don't need a bunch of media and internet keys just something for gaming and typing.

Thanks in advance.

G15 is not around $60. Try more like $80. Anything Logitech though, really (in my mind) they have the best peripheral devices.

Yeah.. that's a bit out of my price range.. and I don't need the LCD display.

Unless someone says says something bad about it fairly soon, I think I'll go with the Saitek.

If I got one from Zboard, it would be THIS one. Normal keyboard with the other slapped on, and it's cheap. But no pretty lights like Saitek has =(

I'll be thinking...

EDIT: AFter further examination, the Zboard I was interested in has a "compressed" keypad. the arrows are squeezed into it, along with a few other keys. I don't like that. Saitek is looking really good now :p

ZBoards are crap, the keyboard is rubbish, the game keysets are even worse and after a while it won't even work properly. I'm a Logitech or MS man here, but I havn't heard anything bad about the Saitek one. Logitech also makes the G11, essentially the G15 above minus the screen: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2166,CONTENTID=11868

Lol, I thought so. While the Logitech one looks nice and tempting, it's $70... once again, I'll be thinking :p

I have that keyboard (in blue), and it does the job quite well indeed. Mine also came with a seperate command pad, which is a bonus.

Build quality seems to be pretty solid, it's withstood countless LAN parties, it's very ergonomic - so yeah, I'd recommend it. The only problem I've had with it is that certain games seem to go nuts, almost as if several keys are stuck - except that they aren't. Mind you, that's probably to do with my Win x64 drivers, it should be fine on 32bit.
