YouTube, and various other websites of which have videos that are played (with sound) no longer work. I can view the videos with no problem what so ever, but there is no sound when there should be. I can listen to music (generally) on my PC, so my sound card is working. I can also get the video (and sound) on the WWE Website. I can only assume that there is a plugin or something that has either become corrupt, or I've accidently deleted (though am not aware of such). Anyone able to help here?

Hate to bump a thread, but this is still a problem for me, one of which I've been unable to solve. Does anyone have any guesses as to what may be wrong?

You know besides the video theres like a volume control for Youtube videos itself, make sure the slider is up fully, I did that once and I thought there was sommat wrong with my sound card.

It wasn't that. It works now. I think it was me. Every time I loaded up my computer, I ended to 'teatimer.exe' process. I didn't do that today, and it worked. *confused* I can't think how there can possibly be a connection, but obviously, there is.
