Noobst3R;4768915Sorry if i'm complaining to hard, but all i'm trying to do, is having a good time gaming, not a bad time. GTA SA with 8fps sucks!!!!

Try GTA or GTA 2 then, they are better games anyway. That's if your mother actually approves of you playing violent games with an age rating of 18.

^ Agreed.

Trying to play GTA4 on a laptop your mom bought you for school is madness. Unless your parents are extra flush and bought you some uberlaptop, don't try to play the newest games on it, you'll just be disappointed.

Save up your extra lunch money [do they still do that, lunch money? lol] and MAKE your own fecking computer. Easy to do, we're here to help and you could do a bang up job with a few hundred dollars that could play your GTA4 very nicely.

Well, the laptop isn't bought for school. My mother just doesn't know anything about computers...:) Also, i'm not trying to play GTA4, or new games..(N88TRs post above this one). Just GTA SA with some fine FPS would be fine. Third of all, i got Hitman: Silent asasssin and Hitman Blood Money from my father for christmas. They don't care about the age rating. I'm not an 7-yrs old hysterical kid playing Pokamon. So, i'm not an spoiled kiddo, whying about 'this stupid laptop'. No, i really like the laptop (except for the graphicscard then :p). So, would you guys stop sayin a spoiled kid, crying for new games that won't run on his laptop. I'm just finding a solution to it! Something like: Oh, download a new bios or so,... Or: oh, you can chance the setting by the control panel... Buy a new GPU, and follow this guide... NO, all i get is post saying that i'm rude, spoiled and stupid trying to run GTA4!!!

(btw, sorry if i sound really pissed off, but i just like to get this straight. And sorry for this long post which are making you eyes burn!:p)

You could always build yourself a gaming computer.

The thing is that you cant buy a new video card for your laptop. Its as simple as that. You're pretty much stuck with what you have right now. Unless you sell your laptop to an unsuspecting person and buy a desktop.

Technically if the sizes are just about right, the voltage use as well and he's not afraid to void the warranty by opening the laptop (or get someone to do it for him in such a way that it won't void the warranty)....

He could buy a different one.

Yeah, but most of the time you have to take the heatpipes and cooling into effect. Also bring in the fact that buying a video card for a laptop is NOT cheap(not to mention hard to find)

Yep, you are basically stuck with whatever video the laptop comes with, regardless of whether it's onboard or a "dedicated" card.

For the most part, ram and hard drives are all you can upgrade easily with laptops.
