*The.Doctor;5376049How loud is the fan at 65%?
Not any louder than the 5 fans running in the HAF...lol
Probably. But, now you can do 470 SLI!
Not on my x48 board...unless I used those hacked drivers floating around.:uhoh:
Just got my new parts- i7 930, 6gigs G.Skill ddr3 1600, EVGA X58 3way sli, Corsair A70 cooler!

Looks like a nice setup. That Corsair cooler is kind of meh for the price though =/
55 bucks & it keeps my 930 @ 32c idle & full load at 55c...not bad for air cooling. Plus that is with AS5 & no curing & only push fan installed. Also, I needed a cooler asap & it was almost 30 bucks cheaper than the H50 at Best Buy.
The cooler looks similar to the Scythe Mugen 2 I bought last week, just a bit smaller. Seems to be a very efficient design with the airflow going towards the case fan.
Just added a 8800gts for PhysX.
Looks pretty nice. I ordered a 470 myself, should have it tomorrow.
You could probably under clock that 8800 a good bit though since its just doing PhysX.
What reason would I need to do that? It isn't running hot or anything. Is it for power consumption reasons?. I will say this- I can now run Batman Arkham Asylum on highest settings, Full PhysX, 1920*1200, 8x msaa & it is a solid 60fps at all times. Also, I can now have full PhysX on Mafia II with everything maxed out except AA(it uses supersampling 2x & it stutters bad) with a solid 60 fps, too. I am overall very happy with it! I will try out Metro 2033 later.

Mostly. If its not running hot though i wouldn't worry about it.
If its not too much trouble, could you post some benchmarks with and without the 8800 for PhysX? I still have my old 9800GTX i could use with my 470 in the same setup if its really worth it.
