ATi has. They currently have the beta2's of the 64-bit catalyst drivers released.

There will be no difference at all. You are running in 32 bit now, so running a 32 bit game on a 64 bit OS will have no difference at all. If you were running a 64 bit OS and your copy of BFV was 64 bit, you will see 32 times more processing power against 32 bit. It;s a good thing. :D

Basically. Maybe a couple of different processes integrated on the chip, but other than that, clock speed and price.

my gosh you guys really need to learn more about this stuff before you call out statistics. you will not get 32x more processing power, infact it most likely wont pet any more processing power. the difference between 64bit and 32bit is the size of the instructions (64bit instruction vs. 32bit intsrutions one is bigger that all.) 64bit allow for greater number of instructions, more bits more possibilities, same thing for RAM addressing more bits more addresses. but the proc is still processing only so many instruction per clock cycle, now they will just be processing 64bit instructions instead of 32.

n0eIt's hard for me to tell now-a-days, with my msdn subscription, I get to download everything earlier than most anyway. I could download the 64 bit versions of XP and win2k3 months before they were retail.

Enlighten me please. W00t?

If you're an MSDN subscriber, you get access to Betas and some Alphas. This is how a lot of M$ software is leaked. Just look at longhorn, A few hundred Alpha(?) copies distributed via CDs hit torrents within a few hours....
