When I play lord of the rings online (lotro) it heats up my 4870 insanely, I play modern warfare 2, Age of conan and Aion, and none heat up my computer like LOTRO does. My 4870 temps skyrocket from a normal 45-55C to about 89-95C almost immediately. Any info or help anyone could give me on a solution that may decrease temps a little bit? I have my comp in my room so it feels like a furnace in there most of the time. This pretty much requires me to play shirtless for long periods of time lol. Would running it in DX9 mode heat it up less than running it in DX10? All settings are max in LOTRO. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Those temps are fine. But you could always change the thermal paste in addition to what these guys suggested already.
