I'm seriously considering buying one of these (but not as my primary computer, of course). Apple has been rolling out some nice stuff recently. Any thoughts on the new goods?
i personally dont like macs.....but they are stable....even thou nothing runs on them.....
Plenty of things run on them. I actually like OSX. Mmmmm, all Unixy and stuff. It's still got it's fair share of quirks (I have a G5 workstation at the office), but it's nice overall. I still use Linux as my main desktop, but OSX has become my second favorite. It won't be a screamingly fast machine for a lot of things, but it's a very cohesive one. Nothing really acts too funny. Just make sure you get a good mouse and keyboard ;)
I'm trying to justify dropping $500+ on something I don't need all that much.
Apple has baan coming out with some nice products. I must say, they have the compact design stuff down pat. The new G4 iMac, now this, and the iPod mini, the iPod Shuffle, the 12" G4 Notebook, and many other things. i like to go to their site and look at their stuff... its cool and its all round, thats what i like about mac, everything is round. no sharp corners to stab yourself on.
^macs...the safest computers in the world.
They are nice and have alot more power than windows based machines do. I saw when they ran OS 10 on a fast comp and it was slow...Yet it runs very fast on teh macs:D
I am the only one who is actually cooler than AzH

There are lots of things people don't need but still buy. :)
if you do get one dont waste money on a new moniter/keyboard/mouse; the ones you have should work.
Why not buy a nice decent graphics card with the money instead of buying a whole new computer when your other one is fine (is it?).
