does any one know what windows services are needed for windows media player 10 to run properly? i cant seem to run wmv and wma files, it says something fails to start, of course being as vague as possible :rolleyes: any help?

Try doing a Windows Update and get plugins if it tells you to. There is something called DivX that my cause you not to be able to play those. If that does not work, try reinstalling WMP or unintsall it and get a lower version, maybe 9. If that does not work you may have to with with iTunes for your audio and winamp.

i know its a windows service that fails to start, but it doesnt tell me what...

Install WMP classic (full k-lite codec pack) and winamp then delete MP10.

Ignore previous message and try to get MP 10 to work. Winamp sucks! pleased.gif Note: I use iTunes.

lol suddenly it works, i can now play wmv, but now i need to get a license for everything wmv :rolleyes:
