ok so ive noticed alot of mice come USB only nowa days, for some reason i have it in my head that PS\2 the hard port MEANT for your mouse is better

am i wrong ?? anyone kno or is it all the same just another place to put ur mouse?

There isn't a big difference, except that usb can have better respsonse times, and is a more flexible interface.

I don't think it makes much difference. I use a USB to PS/2 convertor (supplied with most USB mice anyway) because that's the only thing it can be used for, whereas you can use USB for just about anything.

don't think so. There are 4 wires in both, IIRC, you might be able to cut the cord of a usb and ps/2 mouse, and tie the wires together, but i highly doubt it would work.

Yes, with an adapter. You can get them to go both ways.
