Hey guys...I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust the mipmap LOD bias on this netbook. I tried it on my desktop a while ago, with an 8800GT graphics card using RivaTuner. With a simple registry tweak, I could adjust the LOD bias from -15 to +15. When I had it set to +15, games were almost unrecognizably low-quality. Nothing had textures; guns and buildings and people were basically single-colored shapes. This is what Modern Warfare 2 looked like on my 8800GT with mipmap LOD bias set at +15:
I want to be able to do this on my netbook, which has a comparatively weak nVidia ION, and would actually benefit substantially from the lowered graphics.
I installed RivaTuner, but it doesn't seem to work. As in, I have no options to tweak anything. Does anyone know how I could do this on my netbook? My desktop is toast, and this is pretty much the only thing I can play on, so I'd like to get decent framerates.
EDIT - some specs, just in case. The netbook is an Asus Eee PC 1201N, with a dual-core Intel Atom 330 (1.6GHz), 4GB DDR2-800MHz memory, integrated nVidia ION graphics (based on the 9400m something or other), and Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.
