My mouse keeps doin odd things and im buyin a new comp really soon and when i do i might buy a mouse as well, and even though the computer comes with a mouse ive had bad experiences with mice that come with computers so while i was looking at all these mice i noticed that mice can have like 10 buttons and 3 scroll whells and im just curious as to what those mice could possibly be used for? Im not gettin one and i already have 3 appropriate ones for me in mind so i need no help im just wondering what those other mice do though?
Never seen a mouse with three scroll wheels, but my MX-518 helps my gaming with the two side buttons, and the two DPI adjuster buttons help when transitioning from bullet hose to sniper....
hmm i see
that kinda mouse couldnt do too much more for gaming, however, if you get good with it and customize it and stuff, it could really help with demanding apps like photoshop, and various MS stuff
Thats what i suspected, no way those things are for gaming, ive never used a gaming mouse though, do they make so much of a diff, if so it would seem like gaming mice would only improve your skills in fast paced action games not anything like battle for middle of earth, solitare or WOW
Get a wireless logitech G7. Best mouse bar none.
logitech G5 or higher. anything else is just a waste of money. it might sound really biased but it's the truth, logitech does mice better than anyone else.
but do gaming mice even do anything? of they do the prob only work for games like shooters, and sports, fast games and such right? gaming mice prob arent made for stuff like battle for middle earth right?

They are higher grade mice with more features. They just slap "gaming" on it to sell more units. I own an mx518. I got it for free from logitech when my x510 died. My mom likes the mx518, and she uses the computer for is e-bay and MS word.

I owned an MX510 which broke. I called up their tech support and they had a new mx518 sent out to me for free in a week, and it took all of 5 minutes to get the thing replaced. The 3 year warrenty is excellent.
sounds pretty raw
