Well, in christmas of 2004 i bought a creative zen touch. It was working fine and everyone here recommended it to me although id have to restart it alot. Then due to an accident 2 months late, with my unfortunate luck, it fell in a toilet accidently (yes i know, i feel very stupid :( ). Anyways, now im having trouble of deciding to buy another one, to buy a different mp3 (RELIABLE recommendations of which one if you think so please), or if i should just not go through the hassle of mp3's anymore. :uhm: PS. Dont reccomend an iPOD, because if theres one thing i hate in life, its that. lol

Maybe a Dell DJ would suit your needs, unless you hate Dell too ;) My dad has one and has never had any problems with it. I have a Creative Zen Micro, which has never failed me, but I think you're looking for something more high-capacity.

I didn't make it!

Yeah, I too own a Zen Micro and I love it... never had a single problem. Its 5gb, though I hear theres a 6gb model now.

I suggest you buy a Toshiba Gigabeat F40. They're new and they come in many hard drive sizes. I also kinda like its brushed aluminum casing.

Sorry, but I would go with the iPod. I have one, and it's awesome. It can use the widest variety of file types, not just mp3s. It doesn't hold quite as much as others of the same memory size, but it makes that sacrifice for superior sound quality.
