so i've realized that my iPod just doesn't hold enough music as of late (8 gigs is awfully small). So i was wondering what your suggestions were as to a replacement player. I was thinking of getting a 160 gig iPod classic (believe me, i'd fill it up in a heartbeat), but maybe quality over size is what matters.

tl;dr,

what mp3 player do you suggest for someone who listens to alot of music on an hourly basis.

iPod or Zune would be your best bet in my mind. Both are easy to use and are around the same price.

Can i get your 8gb? :p

I'm stuck on a dodgy 1GB MP3, not even with rechargeable batteries... It's terrible, having to choose what music to put on... it's all so epic, i can't choose! :'(

I would check out Creative Zen MP3 players.

Heh, that's the one i got ;)

They are quite nice mp3's, all small and such. Not sure about the big ones, but theoretically they'd follow suit...

I'd recommend an iPod or a Zune. Having said that why do you need to carry around 8GB worth of music? It's not like the iPod has enough battery to let you listen to it all. Then again I imagine quite a bit of that is movies / TV Shows.

Oh, and an iPod Touch would be good if you wanted to use the internet on the go (assuming you have places with free WiFi connections).

He said he already has an 8gb, and it's too small. He's looking for a 160. They only make the touches up to 32.
