my computer has been freezing then I turn it off. After I've turned it off and try to turn it on again I hear the fan working but usually my disk drives light up and everything comes on but the only thing thats on is the power button and the light right by the power button. All I know I can do right now is keep pressing the power button and it eventually starts up but it is so random sometimes its only like 10 minutes sometimes its 6 or more hours. I would like help because this is getting very annoying plz help.

Take out your pc's manual and read it and I think they should tell you how to reset the bios. I know on my computer there is a little battery that resets this kind of thing.

Gah! NO NO NO NO NO! PC World is a giant ripoff, believe me.

What are your specifications? It could be a PSU problem, motherboard problem, or possibly even a RAM or CPU problem. I'd say the former of the two is more likely - either your PSU is dying, or there is a problem with your motherboard. I would suggest opening the case and making sure the power switch connector is securely attached to the motherboard, and that all relavent connectors and jumpers have not come loose or are not attached.

To reset the bios, just flip out the battery for 5 mins. Or move a jumper, but the battery is easier.
