I thought that I would mention some of the terrific tech podcasts I listen to. They're quite entertaining. I know many of you would enjoy them.
This Week in Tech (aka, TWiT)- This is probably the definitive and most widely recognized tech podcast. It's a weekly show that is hosted by Leo Laporte and features some of the biggest names in tech. Each week, Leo and his guests chat about the weeks top news stories. The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte
Security Now!- Hosted by Leo Laporte (you'll be seeing a lot of his name on this list) and security expert Steve Gibson. Each week they cover the latest in computer/web security. One of the more interesting things about this show is that every fourth episode, Steve and Leo spend the entire episode answering viewer questions. This is a pretty technical/detailed podcast. The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte
Windows Weekly- Leo Laporte and Paul Thurrott's weekly Windows Podcast that covers pretty much all Microsoft products (Windows, Zune, XBox). The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte
MacBreak Weekly- Leo Laporte, Merlin Mann, Alex Lindsey, and Scott Bourne's weekly podcast that talks about everything Apple. The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte
Daily Giz Wiz- Leo Laporte and Mad Magazine's Dick DeBartolo's daily podcast about gadgets. It's very quirky, and bizzare, but very entertaining. The TWiT Netcast Network with Leo Laporte
PC Mag Radio- The entire PC Magazine Staff gathers around to talk about what's going on at the magazine's headquarters. The latest devices they've reviewed, their tests in their labs, and the events that they often attend are all fair game. Radio Podcasts from PC Magazine
Maximum PC No BS Podcast- The weekly podcast from the Maximum PC Magazine staff. This a particularly good one for those of us into gaming/high end hardware. Podcast - Maximum PC
Cranky Geeks- PC Magazine's John C. Dvorak hosts this weekly video podcast with three guest pannelests. The show covers the latest in tech and science news. Cranky Geeks
DL.TV- Patrick Norton and Robert Heron host this twice weekly video podcast where they show you what they're doing hands-on. They cover a wide variety of tech. From favorite websites to hardware gadgets, they've got something for everyone. DL.TV
Diggnation- While perhaps not a 100% tech podcast, it does cover a number of tech news stories. One a week Kevin Rose and Alex Albright cover the most popular stories from the social news networking sight, digg.com. The video podcast covers a wide variety of subjects, and is often quite humorous because of the large amounts of beer that the two hosts consume during the show. Revision3
Does anyone have any shows they'd like to add?
I'll check some of these out, never seen or heard of most of them before. I think the only tech shows I've seen in the U.S. was Screensavers and Attack of the Show (which isnt very techy at all).
