Dipshipyeah, uhm, sorry about that. I needed to look a few things up. I was gonna erase my trail but I got distracted. I promise to clean up after myself the next time I hijack your browser.

LMAO

get: Ad-Aware Spybot - Search & Destroy HiJack This! (using this analyzer will tell you what to remove) Microsoft Anti-Spyware

that combo will remove almost everything. theres always some things most programs don't see. but not many

Just don't run them all at once or they will conflict with each other, and become essentially useless.

I don't know what's happened and I don't think any of us could do anything more than guess for you, without actually having a look at your PC. Your best bet is to install an Anti Porn program. You can download these free off the internet, Google will give you many hits.

Beaŗděd-ØneIf it's just your link/website history of visits, can't you just delete them? If you using mozilla you can press CTRL+H to bring it up, and just click Edit-> Select all then Edit-> delete.

In IE can't you just go into the internet settings and click a clear history button?

Yeh, but that wouldn't fix my problem, I don't need to cover the tracks of whatever isn't covering its own tracks

But yeh, I ran Ad-aware this moring and it didn't come up with anything unusual, just the regular about 12 or so data mining cookies, most from places I'm familiar with. HiJack I still can't find anything, I'll redownload SypBot again tomorrow, but it never worked too well for me when I had it before, kept crashing on me without actually getting rid of anything  of course that could have had something to do with a particularly malicious spyware I had at that time, and I've since gotten rid of that, so maybe it'll work properly :clueless: And Norton runs tomorrow moring while I'm at church, but I doubt that'll do anything, this doesn't sound like a virus to me, and it doesn't find most spyware, although it has before.

And no, I havn't been seeing many pop ups, maybe two in the last seven months or so, and those seemed special cases, like at ebaum's world and such where they have pretty hefty pop up systems and all, so it doesn't seem to be any type of malware or anything. And I havn't actually ever been redirected to one of the websites on my history, they just start popping up in my history section

The only odd thing I've seen that I doubt has any relation what-so-ever, is that I've been getting a whole lot more spam mail to gmail than I ever have before; all about sex or dating or singles or things of that nature, so something may be up there, I don't now :clueless:
