Very nice, good performing parts without being ripped off. I think its very easy to waste money on pc bits but youve got some good choices there IMHO. Superb Pro, great gfx card half price on January prices and good overclockers board for your pro.

Its got to be said though m8, the only real bonus with your new one would be dual core and overclockability, why the changes?

I have decided to sell my current rig, and it will be going soon... and my mate has the X1800XT and has got it to about 675mhz core - 1900mhz memory. Now thats fast! Even if I cant get it that high it will still be a better performer than my 7800GT and....

The CPU has hit 5ghz on stock cooling so hopefully I can get so goodness out of that too! :D

Also that RAM has been clocked to PC4000 :D So its a big overclocker ;) and a DFI board is an overclocking board can help this :)

The CPU hit 4.1GHz with watercooling before it maxed out. Also note; overclocking is a crap-shoot. Just because user A gets one result doesn't mean that user B will get the same results.

but I do think that it was a good deal, and if you sell in the right places you can actually profit by selling the old setup

I know that I may not be able to get 4ghz out of it, But I should be getting at least 3.6 - 3.8ghz...

I am also thinking about getting another 1gb of RAM so I will be able to run Vista... I will get that in the future!
