I need to find out my WEP key and i know i can find it out by accessing my router. My problem i cant access my router. I dont know how to find out my username and password for it. Help needed. thanks

Have you ever changed the default username and password for the router? If not, it should be admin & admin, if you did, you may be SOL. :moved: from FileFront help

that doesnt work lol. Do you know how to get your username and password back if youve forgot it?

Username can be blank and password can be admin, you can also hold down the button on the back of your router for 10 or more seconds and it reverts everything back to normal.

That's the brand name, not the model. Netgear have produced hundreds of different products over the years.

For a default netgear router the username is always 'admin' and the password is usually 'password' or '1234'.

Unless of course if it's from a broadband supplier like mine was in which case the router could have altered firmware on it and different default passwords.
