I have tried ScreenHunter and Fraps but both freeze the screen for about 2 seconds(still hear though). When you are traveling more than a football field per second and being right in the middle of the field...2 seconds is more than enough time for something to go wrong lol and I can't have this happen online either(obviously). The only three requirements(other than free ofcourse) are that I can choose the location the screenshots are saved to; that I can save them in jpg format and that it barely freezes(split second) the screen or not at all.

AnalogX Capture is the one I use. It's free, it's small and It's simple. I believe it meets all your requirements.

Link: AnalogX

[edit] oh wait, I just tried it again and it saves as .bmp. You can also just convert afterwards to .jpg using Paint or another free app I like called "irfanview". It does, however, not freeze the system at all for the screenshots.

You may also get some old demo version of Paint Shop Pro such as version 4, it allows multiple captures and does not automatically saves them : everything is kept in memory until you decide to save (or not) each file.

That's a bit boring to save by yourself every file and if you take too many screenshots that might eat up your ram, however there are no disc accesses or calculations (that there would be if it compressed/saved the files) and so that doesn't "freeze" your computer at all.

The only problem is I can't use Print Screen. I have it on F10 for now but I would have to change it for each game I have. I will leave it on my hard drive until I can get something that lets me use Print Screen.

The one I recommended above allows you to map it's screen capture key to almost any key, as well as where to save them.
