I posted a little while ago that my mothers pc needed a new cpu cooler. I got that but its still alot of nosise so its her chieftec 360 watt that makes alot of noise. So i need a psu that is about 400 watt and that is silent, so i looked at this one: http://prisguide.hardware.no/product.php?productId=51701&view=specifications Is that one any good?

ide say so 20 dB(A) is average fan noise, a loud fan is 50 and a quiet fan is 10 (if my memory is correct) Should be plenty of power, and antec generally makes quality products.

as for a cpu cooler, i recommend either cleaning the one you already have and using some higher quality thermal paste, or finding a larger heatsink. I personally dont belive that water cooling is practical because it needs just as many fans for the most part anyway.

Indeed, I'd say that that PSU is fine.

However, if you really want it to be quiet, wouldn't water work, as it helps to muffle/garble the sound?
