Sorry about this but i need to do very important course work for school, and its the first time i needed to use power point, and of course my luck, my computer does not have it (typical). So can anyone give me a web site where im able to download a free version of it, i dont care how old it is as long as its an english version and it free, and it aint a powerpoint viewer.

Also i have looked all over google and cant find a free copy and i realy dont want to pay up to a hundred or more for a piece of software im only going to use for a year, so yeah please help lol!

thanks in advance!:)

Lacks the brand name, but is just as good and free.

www: OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite

Alternatively, you can try the sixty day trial of Microsoft Office. Should get you through your project.

Indeed, OpenOffice is what you're looking for if you don't want to spend any money on MS Office. Isn't as nice to use, but it's free.

The only problem you will have when you use OpenOffice and try to open it on school powerpoint are the fonts. Make sure you use something simple so the whole presentation doesn't get borked with something OOo has and PP doesnt.

Riles has a good point, aside from Open Office, the 60 day trial of Office should suffice.
