I have a gaming laptop, but it's not doing its job very well and is having some issues. I was hoping you guys could help me build a gaming comp with everything including: PS: has to ship to canada :) Case Motherboard Memory Harddrive Graphics Card Proccessor Proccessor fan Monitor (lcd) (prefferably 20-22", or greater if price is right) EDIT: Also need powersupply, forgot lol Help is greatly appreciated!! I know how to build a comp, I just need help with the best deals for parts :) I would like the comp to be able to max games like MW2 and Starcraft 2, which isn't the hardest feat to accomplish.

Budget. Budget. Budget.

Can we put that in a sticky somewhere?

He said $750 in the thread title Daed. =p

$750 is not going to go as far as you might think since you need a new monitor, case, and presumably a copy of Win 7. That will leave you with only ~$400 for components (new monitor $150 or so, copy on Win 7 $100, new case probably $70-100).

Ugh, feck, missed that...

To echo what Doc said, you will be left with about $400, and that's just not enough to get anything worthwhile. At that price, you might as well try for a pre-built system from an OEM.
