My second build for my friend is almost ready. I am ordering all the parts next Friday. Will all these parts be compatible? My main concern if the harddrive will be compatible.

My biggest concern is if the Harddrive and the motherbaord are compatible. Any other incompatibility issues you guys see please post!!

All the parts you got are compatable so you don't have to worry about that. one thing i would do though, is change the memory, i would get two 512MB sticks instead of a running a single 1GB, that way you can run them in dual channel.

1gb (2x512mb) Corsair ram for $77:

I think it would be worth the extra $8.45 for quality ram, but that's just me.

For the HDD, your choice would work fine, but you could also get a sata drive for that mobo:

Same drive (and price) you chose except this one's a sata:

Oh, good idea. I will change it to 4 sticks of 512. would that be alright? also, is the GPU alright for games like BF2 HL2 and Doom 3 Quake 4 and COD2? Will my CPU bottleneck wit that card to? sorry lol just wonderin

That card should play all those games just fine. One thing to note is it doesn't support SM3.0, but hopefully that won't be a problem for awhile.

I think that gpu is a nice match to the cpu, and neither should really be a bottleneck.

As for getting 4 sticks of 512mb... If the goal is to get 2gb of memory total, then you'd be better off buying two 1gb sticks and running them in dual channel. If you run 4 sticks of memory, it will run at 333mhz instead of 400mhz (which 2 sticks will run at)

Here's the 2gb (2 x 1gb) Corsair VS set ($155):
