Right i want to get some new speakers... I want these 'Creative Inspire 2700 Slim'

http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/creative-2700slim/ My mate has them and they are just amazing. anyway the problem i cant find them anywhere apart from here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000075AMJ/qid=1133733447/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_0_1/203-4926853-8403913 and they are not in stock :( My mate wont part with his so does anyone know somewhere i can get them from, for a reasonable price?

If not could you advise me on a set of 2.1 speakers to get that would be better than the '2700 Slims'

Thanks!

I own a Packard Bell 2.1 system, and I have to say, it hasn't failed me yet. Used it on three PCs so far, and I expect they'll be on my next one too. The sattelites are ultra-thin (about the width of a £1 coin), so most of the bass is kicked out through the woofer under my desk, but even so the quality is excellent. Only cost me £20, brilliant for the price.

If you're on a budget, try these, however if you can spare a few extra pounds, then you'd be better off with these or these.

These. Yes they are only 2 channel and yes they are almost $200, and I know he lives in the UK. They don't have the rumble of a subwoofer, but they go pretty low, about 55Hz. I have seen the drivers for these things though, very heavy and well made.

If you have to have the rumble though get these if you can find them over the UK

Dont look so glum, chum...creative are good, But you would be pleasantly pleased with Altec Lansing products. I did see that you are from the UK. That page was just for reference. I am sure you could find them or something similiar in your neck of the woods.
