me and my friends play diablo 2 and want a program we can talk with....we use skype right now but that can only hold 5 ppl in a conferce...and we need a little more...something free preferrably.

If you mean something that you can talk to friends with whilst playing, teamspeak is the way to go.

One of you would need to download the free server and host the server whilst playing, and the other people just join the server.

All you need after that is a microphone.

Ventrillo for me seems a lot more clearer in hearing and less static, but both are good as I use them.

Ventrilo does seem to give better sound quality.

Just make sure your host has a good upload speed, and plenty of bandwidth.
