There's some rather strange choices there. Like, presumably you want all of these systems for the same use, so why does the midrange one have 2TB hard drive space, the most expensive one has 1TB hard drive (less?) and the cheapest one has 500GB. It just doesn't make sense; you either need that much space or you don't. If you don't then it's a waste of money, and if you do then why spec out a system that is inadequate?

Anyway, overall I'd go for the first one, but given the choice I'd put a 4850 or 4870 in it rather than the 9800GT. A Q9550 is probably overkill but hey, if you've got the cash to spend then I suppose there's no reason not to.

The second one is the most up-to-date in terms of using an i7 processor and DDR3 but it's just not worth the money.

As as for the third one I'd say going for the cheapest system is false economy here - ideally it needs more RAM, a better motherboard and your 7800GT won't cut it for much longer if you're playing modern games. By the time you've sorted out those you may as well just buy the first one.

I'm not sure that vendor offers the best CAD pricing. Also, though I like the 2nd build the best, you could save some by going with the i7 920 CPU, and a less expensive case.

If you're buying a pre-built from that store I would say go with this one

That one kow posted is pretty nice, I'd have it over options 1 and 3 on your list (and option 2 is 3x the price so that's not really fair). If you need more storage space (like option 1 has) then adding another drive is very easy to do.

And yeah the optical drive will be behind a door on the front. ;)
