Run it at 1280x1024 (same for your desktop, it'll look clearer, unless it makes things too small for you to see), and turn anti aliasing on.

Yeah, that's the highest resolution I could put it at without killing my PC. xD It looks amazing.

For anti-aliasing, what should I set it to? Override program settings or enhance program settings? Also, 2X, 4X, 8X, 8XQ, 16X or 16XQ? And what do these do?

Well, it's not so much killing your PC, it's more than your monitor doesn't go higher than that.

As for anti aliasing, this article explains it in a lot of detail. You don't have to read it if you don't want, the pictures should give you an idea. Basically it helps to smooth out jagged edges. At 1280x1024 on a 17" monitor there shouldn't be that many jagged edges anyway, but I'd say put it on 4x or 8x. JKA is only a Quake 3-based game and a 9500GT should be able to handle those settings easily enough.

Remember that if you're using the nVidia control panel to set it then you'd be best to change it depending on the game you're playing - running anti aliasing on a new (i.e. demanding) game will kill your performance, whereas on an old game like that it's fine.

Oh okay, thanks. Is there a settings save/load in the control panel? Problem is some games aren't showing up in the control panel so I use global settings, but I don't wanna re-adjust for other games. =/
