[color=sandybrown]Hey I just got a new grapics card a VisionTek Xtasy 128mb. I recently posted about my Swg pixel shading problom. So i bought a new grapics card *one that needed a 250 watt power supply* and luckaly I got 250 watts. So I installed the card today and installed the drivers and disabled the on board video. And now when i switch the moniter to the card..the screen goes black. Can Sombody Please Help..this is my second card the first one needed a 350 watt supply. Im on a Dell...which I regret now.[/color]
dells suck, its prolly the problem, they really arent compatible, build your own comp
Dell likes to write there own bios, I bet the mobo bios is checking the Graphics card bios and seeing that it is not fro dell, and is refusing to communicate with it.
Well I kno the first problem....graphics is spelled wrong numerous times...3 total

Make sure your card is compatible with the AGP port on your motherboard. Does the fan on the videocard start when you power up? Do you get any speaker alarms?
Forgot to say its a PCI card.
