That's tiny!

And at £40, €60, not bad money.

Erm, the shuffle's been out for months. It's nothing new. The full-size video iPods and iPod Nanos are newer.

I'd get one if I didn't already have a video, and if I was still looking for an mp3 player. But I'd probably lose this, cuz it's too damn small

How would it? iTunes takes all formats? or are you talking about playlists?

The whole point of the shuffle is that life is random; i.e that you are not supposed to be picky about the songs you put on it, but just go with the flow. Try paying attention to Ad-Campaigns ;) :p

Tried clicking the link?

And so you know, I am getting one of these to replace my current shuffle :p

That's not a bad price really, and 250 songs on a shuffle is more than enough.

I like how Apple lies about those stupid earbuds. No way in hell they have a frequency response floor of 20Hz. Anyway, I wonder if the new Shuffle uses a Sigmatel chip like it's predecessor did, and like all great DAPs have (karma), or if they've gone back to one of the craptacular chips used in some of the earlier iPods.

Looks like they also removed the on-unit male USB conenctor. Dumb idea; that pretty much ruins its usefulness as a pen drive.

And it still doesn't play FLAC :uhm:
