Looking at the prices on that site finding a computer for under $600 AUD is going to be amazingly hard for something decent. $200 for an okay motherboard? $400 for a phenom II? Jeeze you need to shop somewhere else.

It's like what we have to contend with here in New Zealand. It's awful, seeing people say they want a "$1500 mid-range computer" and knowing that in New Zealand that would be about $3000...

Convert your money to USD, then have someone buy items in the states and ship it all together so its cheaper. Shipping a 5-7lb box full of components would be much cheaper in the long run if you buy your stuff here.

It depends. I worked this out before. My PC (minus case) would have cost about NZD500 less if I shipped it from the states. Obviously, seeing as its so big, the case would have just about evened it out. But I don't have anyone reliable that I know who would build a rig for me to ship across to here. And there's no real guarantee that parts won't come loose, things shaken up, cables disconnected and whipped around everywhere in transit from the States all the way here. I've seen the way people handle luggage, even ones with fragile marked all over them.

The thing is that you dont need it pre-assembled. Just take out the boxes and the non-important accessories and the weight is greatly reduced. Fill the box full of packing peanuts and get a few hundred $$ of insurance on it and there wont be as much as a finger print on that box.

Yeah there's no one that can really do that for me. Is there a website in America that sells these parts that ship worlwide? considering I'm getting mobo, g-card, cpu, ram. I'm not overly concerned about shipping it the entire operation will be cheaper by buying overseas.

Neither of them have the range of products that Newegg has, though.
