apparantly i am getting a new pc for Christmas, unfortunatley i dont know anything about its stats or details :uhm: but i've a new years list, and i'd like to know: Best External Hard Drive for under £100 Best Graphics Card for under £100 Best Dual 512mb Stick for under £150 Best 2-2.5 ghz Processor for under £200
any ideas anyone??
I am assuming this is all new. You don't want an extrenal HD, they won't work as well as internal ones.
Total: £530(with shipping)
You get: Case with mouse, keyboard 500Watt PSU DFI SLI motherboard AMD +3700 with CPU cooler 1gb PC3200 ram 1 6800gt PCI-e 200gb HD CD/DVD drive
I didn't make it!
i can help you.
Total So Far = £250.53
That leaves you £300 to spend on a GPU if you want it for gaming get a 7800GT if not get your self a 6800 or 6600GT.
Also do you need anything else, like a mobo, case, monitor etc or do you already have them?
no i am getting an actual computer, they just havent told me the specs or anything... thats why i wanted an external harddrive etc. but i wanted better graphix and stuff, because it wont be new, i think its like a year old or half a year old or something, but this one is 6 years old come new years :(
I would wait on everything untill you get it. You may get a good PC that only needs a new graphics card. Or you can get a POS dell that you can't do anything with.
Now if it is a cutom built Pc , not a dell, HP, or gateway, then keep the CD drives, the case, and the hard drives. Then just buy a new motherboard, processor, ram and video card.
Wait and see what you get.
thanks but even still if i dont get it, i will get some more stuff for this one :(
