Yeah if its not plug and play try reinstalling your drivers. You can also change the resolution out of Catalyst control if you have an ATI card.

I have a Gforce 6600 gt oc, Windows xp pro 1 gig of ram and pentium 4 The thing is i got every other game to run now on it except BF2. I can get FH, RO, CS, Call of duty 2, Age of empires 3, sim city 4 and combat flight sim 3 to all run, but the only game that is being a problem is BF2. If i plug the old Screen back in BF2 will run but everything is off center and there is a big black mark in the center. Should i try to reinstall the game so everything is back to default ?

Yes, reinstall BF2 and tell us what's happening then. BF2 has had some booting problems like this with me, where it goes black then crashes to desktop. An uninstall then reinstall has worked for me.

I read somwhere that it wont run inless you have it set to a 60 refresh rate. My screen is set to a 75 refresh rate. The only problem is that i have no other options. It only lets me selcet 75 and nothing else. Is there any way around this.

Nope, that means it's the only refresh rate your monitor can run at. The higher the number, the better though, so you don't need to set it down.

If it's an LCD then it doesn't have a refresh rate, as far as I know it shows one in Windows to avoid compatability problems that suddenly not having a refresh rate would cause, or something. Hence why you only have one.

If you think that's the problem then maybe put the old screen back on and change it to 60, then put your new screen on?

Bs|ArchaonIf it's an LCD then it doesn't have a refresh rate

LCD's do have refresh rates, usually 60hz which is lower then the common crt.
