Hey, I got my sound card today (sound blaster audigy 4), put it in and it won't work. I followed the instructions and it says when you put it in and start the computer up Windows will see it as new audio drivers. Nothing happens. When I go into control panel > sounds it says "No audio device". When I try to install the driver off the cd it says "Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. Please ensure that your product is properly installed before running this setup program".

I've also tried all PCI slots. My motherboard is an Asus A8N5X. I've been at this for ages now and I know I'm installing it in the right slot (a PCI slot) Does anyone know what to do?

Did you uninstall the previous sound drivers before installing the card? Then reboot. Do that and then go to Creative website and download the latest driver package. That worked for me when I upgraded.

Also if you have onboard sound make sure to disable that.

Yeah, I've done all that. Still doesn't work though.
