To be entirley honest, save up some money, sell off the computer (assuming it is yours), and buy a whole new computer. Because your computer seem's fairly dated now, and to be honest, it is not worth upgrading, because those upgrades won't last you very long.

Entirley your decesion, i am just recommending what i beleive is best. :)

I'd disagree. If he dosen't have that much money and he's only 15, he's not going to really be able to save up for a brand new PC, especially when the one he has isn't completely useless, besides the fact that selling your old PC is pretty difficult if its a bit dated. I'd go for either the 6600GT or the 6800GS [Or an X800 GTO if you fancy going with ATi] and upgrade your RAM to 1GB.

I am 15 and i saved up $2000 to buy my machine.

I also sold my old PC, but i admit, it wasn't AS old.

But it isn't impossible if you put some effort into it.

Same. I bought a £850 machine when I was 15, thanks to frugal spending/saving here and there. It is possible.

MorgsterGet yourself a 6600gt. It will be a big improvement. But dont be shocked if you cant play un2007! You WILL have to upgrade your whole system if you want to play future games at high detail.[/quote] Well, I don't have to play it at high detail, will that help :p.

:agreed Yeah, that's pretty much it. I mean, everything goes well, and i'm satisfied with it. Only, I want to play games, and (especially the ones to come) will demand more and more. Darn.

Well, this one isn't that bad either, and I got some money, but.. well, don't know if I'm the one to spend $2000, i'm pretty economical... Also, I didn't actually save it for this. This used to be one heck of a computer, and it even was my own, and I didn't play that much (demanding) games, so it was more than enough. But I just currently actually got in the gaming-thing.

I don't think i'll sell my system. Not yet. Well, i'll atleast check the 6800GS out. And some extra RAM.
